I’m running for reelection to the Leon County School Board, District 5.
For decades, I’ve believed that strengthening our schools requires steady leadership, thoughtful oversight, and a willingness to do the hard work behind the scenes. That commitment didn’t start when I was first elected — and it certainly doesn’t stop now.
During my time on the School Board, I’ve focused on practical solutions that strengthen our school system and support the people who make it work. That includes recommending a comprehensive compensation analysis to review all employee salaries against the market and championing a plan to move our employees to at or above competitive market wages.
I’ve also worked to improve budget transparency through variance reports — providing a clear, public view of where our budget shows surpluses and shortfalls — and recommended policy changes to support fair and consistent discipline practices across our schools.
But before my name can appear on the ballot, I need your help.
I’m collecting petition signatures from registered voters in Leon County School Board District 5.
Signing the petition is free and simply allows my name to appear on the ballot so voters can decide this race.
